This week, I used the Simply Moist Oil Sprayer to help dress my salad and was disappointed with the results. It was useful in evenly coating lettuce, however had many complications. To start with, while assembling the product, twisting the nozzle into place was a little difficult. The first couple of sprays showed that it does an exceptional job giving an even disbursement, with a very large spray diameter. However, I would recommend placing your ingredients in a deep, wide mixing bowl before misting to avoid getting oil all over your counter top. If you read this and thought in the beginning, “Wow, this would be great for my salad dressings too!” stop right there. While this device does a great job at coating a precise, consistent amount each time, it is only good for olive oil, avocado oil, or any pure liquid. When I filled it with a homemade salad dressing, oregano and garlic lodged itself into part of the device. This resulted in the product no longer being useful. Over all, the design is sleek and can be a great addition to your kitchen when only used with oil or vinegar.
